      To all whom it may Concern, Know ye that I Samuel Miles of Newberry District in the State of South Carolina being fick and weak of Body, but of Sound and Disposing mind and Memory, have thought fit to make Ordain Constitute and Appoint this my last Will and Testament in Manner and form following That is to say -

      First I hereby Will and Order all my Just Debts and funeral Expences to be Justly timely and punctually paid out of my Personal Estate and out ftanding Debts before any Division or Other Distribution thereof be made -

      Secondly, It is my Will and Desire that my Esteemed friend Mary Giddings now living with me do remain in and have Charge of my House and fuch family as I may leave for one Year and that my Executors hereafter named, do afsist and allow her a Comfortable and Decent fupport with the rest of my Family out of my personal Estate for One Year if she fhall Continue to live with them for that Term, and I do further in Consideration of the many fervices rendered to me in affliction and ficknefs give & Bequeath unto her the said Mary Giddings the sum of Fifty Dollars in Addition to any Wages Agreement for hire which I have made with her -

      Thirdly I give & Bequeath to my loving Niece Jane Miles now living with me Fifty Dollars Together with my Deceased Wifes fide-Saddle & Cloak -

      Fourthly I give and Bequeath unto John Abbot low living with me the like Sum of Fifty Dollars -

      Fifthly It is my Will and Desire that my Negro man Frank at the Expiration of one Year be Manumitted and set free and that my Executors do give him fuch part of my Wearing Apparel as they fhall think proper -

      Sixthly - I do hereby Will and Direct that all my personal Estate which my Executors fhall think not wanting for the fupport of my Family as before Directed to be fold as soon as Convenient after my Decease on fuch terms as they fhall think best, and that the remainder, Together with the Whole of my real Estate be Dispos'd of in like manner -

      Seventhly - at the Expiration of one Year from the Date hereof - All the remaining part of my Estate real & personal not heretofore Disposed of for the payment of Debts Funeral Charges, Legacies Household and all Expences be paid be Equally Divided between my three Daughters, Rhoda, Frost, Elizabeth Marshal, and Mary ONeal Share & fhare alike -

      Eighthly and Lastly I do hereby Nominate and Appoint my Trusty and well Beloved Friends John Kelly, Elijah Jones & Henry ONeal fole Executors to this my last Will and Testament hereby revoking and Disannulling all other and former Wills by made ratifying and Confirming this and no Other to be my last Will and Testament.

      In Witnefs Whereof I have hereunto fet my hand & feal this Eleventh day of February in the Year of our Lord One Thousand Eight hundred and feven -
