. . . James C. Donnell II (b. June 30, 1910) . . . was born in Findlay, Ohio, and graduated from Princeton University in 1932. After graduation he became manager of crude oil sales for Marathon Oil company, serving until 1936. In the latter year he was named a director, rising to the vice-presidency in 1937, and the presidency in 1948. His tenure as president lasted until 1972, when he became chairman of the board until 1975. He married Dolly Louise DeVine in 1932. They have one daughter.
